The Arc Lane County promotes and protects the human rights of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and actively supports their full inclusion and participation in the communities in which they live.
Oregon’s Five main Legislative Funding Priorities in 2026-27
- Accessible Housing Policy Bill: In addition to the above Coalition funding priorities, support Senate Bill 444 to encourage state housing agencies to increase accessible housing.
- Case Management: Fully fund individuals with disabilities (IDD) case management entities who offer a lifeline of support to more than 38,000 Oregonians. The current service level funding of 86% is unsustainable.
- DSP Wages: Stabilize this essential workforce by setting a minimum wage for all Direct Support Professional (DSPs) of $25 per hour and automatic annual inflation and longevity increases for wages and benefits.
- Existing Family Networks: Regional Family Networks provide peer-delivered support and systems navigation to thousands of families across the state. ODHS line-item budget of $3.5M GF requested to sustain these underfunded networks.
- Support POP 117: This Policy Option Package funding will strengthen system navigation for Tribal members and includes $600,000 to support self-advocacy and expand family networks.
