Raising a neurodiverse child comes with unique challenges—and you shouldn’t have to do it alone. At Families Connected and Familias en Conexión, the Regional Family Networks serving Lane County, and Families Engaging and Thriving Together (FEATT), the Regional Family Network serving Douglas County, we believe in the power of family, connection, and community. We are here to walk alongside you with support, guidance, and resources rooted in lived experience.
What We Do
We connect families like yours with trained peer navigators—parents and caregivers who’ve walked a similar path and are ready to listen, guide, and support. Through one-on-one support, local events, learning opportunities, and advocacy, we help you build the confidence and community you need to raise your child at home and thrive.
Our mission is twofold:
- Strengthening Families: We help families build the support networks they need to keep children with I/DD safe, loved, and thriving in their own homes. Through peer-to-peer support, information sharing, and person-centered planning, we equip you with the tools to make informed decisions and advocate for your child.
- Building Welcoming Communities: We partner with schools, organizations, service providers, and neighbors to create more inclusive, informed, and compassionate communities. Together, we foster environments where people with disabilities—and their families—feel welcomed, seen, and valued.
