| From finding food and housing to accessing healthcare and benefits, The Arc Lane County can help connect you with the support you need. Thanks to funding from the Oregon Health Authority, The Arc Lane County’s Bridges to Care program helps individuals and families connect with essential services quickly, respectfully, and with personalized support. Whether you need assistance with housing, food, healthcare, mental health services, disability supports, employment, transportation, benefits such as SSI, SNAP, or Medicaid, or special education resources, Bridges to Care can help point you in the right direction. Participants work with trained, culturally responsive staff who take the time to understand their needs and connect them with appropriate community resources. Beyond referrals, the program also helps people build the knowledge and confidence they need to navigate complex systems on their own. The Arc is also bringing Bridges to Care support directly into local communities. Staff will be available at area libraries to help people learn about resources and get connected to services Sept. 1: O’Brien Memorial Library, 51771 Blue River Dr., Blue River Sept. 14: Cottage Grove Library, 700 E. Gibbs Avenue Help is also available at The CARES Center during regular food pantry hours, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2–6 p.m. You can stop by to learn more about Bridges to Care and get help connecting with resources.
