TAKE A BREAK

Come check out The Arc of Lane County’s newest program, Take a Break! The program is geared to for families who have children ages 5 to 21 with developmental disabilities and their siblings. The program is designed to give parents respite so they can take a break. Parents can register their children for 6 hours, or any time between 10:00 am and 4:00 pm to fit your schedule. Staff ratio will be approximately 1 staff for every 5 children present. Program schedule is September - June. Please bring brown bag lunch.

Take A Break Schedule

  • 1st & 3rd Saturday
    10:00 - 4:00 pm
    Howard Elementary
    700 Howard Ave., Eugene

  • 2nd & 4th Saturday
    10:00 - 4:00 pm
    4181 E St, Springfield

Starts at $5/hr per child and $3/hr per sibling and snacks are provided. New registrations require documentation to be filled out one week prior to attendance. All registrations and cancellations need to be completed by Wednesday.
