Families Connected was created by families for families raising a child who experiences an intellectual and/or developmental disability. Families Connected helps reduce isolation and build community connections for families living in Lane County.
Families organizes monthly events and parent trainings, creating many opportunities for families to get out in community meet one another.

Families Connected recognizes the strengths and unique gifts of people who experience disabilities and promotes active participation of individuals who experience a disability in all facets of life. We believe in supporting families that fosters family empowerment, promotes high expectations and encourages active and fulfilling lives in community.
Families Connected partners with local businesses, civic leaders, service providers, schools and community agencies to help make a difference in the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities and their families.
Families Connected is one of eight family networks in the state of Oregon created to help families raising a child with a disability. Families Connected is a member of the Oregon Consortium of Family Networks.
